REVOLUTIONALE - Festival for change with "Challenging Conditions"

October 3 to 10 at Leipzig's Wilhelm-Leuschner-Platz and several satellites

Under the title "Challenging Conditions", this year's REVOLUTIONALE - Festival for Change invites you to concerts, films, readings, participatory performances and installations, exhibitions, films and discussions. 35 years after the Peaceful Revolution, it examines the effects of social division, authoritarian repression and totalitarian rule and makes signs of solidarity and empowerment visible. The festival extends from Leipzig's city center across a total of seven satellites with participants from Armenia, Georgia, Belarus, Turkey, Ukraine and Germany. The festival's main hub is located in Leipzig's city center but also stretches out to the former cotton mill area, where an international art exhibition will be shown in cooperation with HALLE 14 - Centre for Contemporary Art.
