Rhenish Piano Competition 2025: A festival of piano art for all music enthusiasts

Following the great success of the Rhenish Piano Competition 2024 and the high level of participation, the popular competition will take place again this year. Next weekend, January 25, 2025 at 3 p.m., all piano enthusiasts will have the opportunity to take part in this special event at the
Palais Wittgenstein in Düsseldorf.

The competition, which this year has 48 talented participants from all over the Rhineland and brings together musicians from a wide variety of musical backgrounds, has developed into a true celebration of the art of piano playing. For the piano players, it is a special highlight to perform in front of their own family and friends, to present what they have learned and to compete with others.

"As a pianist, I know the biggest motivating factor when playing an instrument only too well: the strong feeling after long practice sessions, the performance, the applause and the recognition of the audience as well as the ranking in the competition," says jury president Hang Dong.

The Rhineland Piano Competition is aimed at all piano enthusiasts, whether big or small, young or old. Participants can compete in the categories of classical, pop and film music. The focus is on the unifying and magical power of the piano.

The competition is organized in cooperation with the association "Deutsche Internationale Musiker und darstellende Künstler e.V.". We cordially invite all interested parties to become part of this special musical experience.
