RheinPop - unplugged und frisch gezapft // Mit Ijaz Ali, Jan Bleeker, Nico Mono und Safetyville

In the organizer's words:

"RheinPop - unplugged and freshly tapped" is the name of the new series of events launched by Nico Mono. Together with his guests Ijaz Ali, Jan Bleeker and Safetyville, the singer/songwriter will take to the stage at Joode Lade in Cologne on Thursday, February 6 - with original and acoustically performed music in their luggage.
RheinPop offers a platform for bands and solo artists who identify with the versatility and appeal of popular music. The evening will be hosted by Ari Reith. The event is supported by Joode Lade, one of the most "pop-popular" Kölsch pubs in the cathedral city, and by Gaffel Kölsch. Both have long specialized in enriching Cologne's cultural life.

Ijaz Ali

Ijaz Ali is a singer/songwriter from the small town of Bad Hönningen, directly on the Rhine in Rhineland-Palatinate. He has been on the road as a solo artist with his guitar since mid-2011, before that he played in various bands. The pop/rock attitude that emerged from these bands still flows strongly into his music, because his songs are anything but pure plucked or cuddly ballads! With both fast and catchy rhythms and melodies, as well as calm and upbeat pieces, a concert by him promises a varied program.

Jan Bleeker

Jan Bleeker has been performing in Europe for over 15 years and played as a member of the indie rock band Hurricane Dean together with Alicia Keys, Billy Talent and other big names in the international music business.
The singer-songwriter has been touring as a solo artist since 2016 and has been known to a large audience as a semi-finalist on The Voice of Germany since 2022 at the latest.

Nico Mono

If you look at NICO MONO's discography, you'll find one catchy tune after another. The musician is at home in German-language singer-songwriter music. However, his songs take him out into the world. The singer already shared his passion for travel with his listeners in 2015 with his nationally successful summer hit "Amsterdam".
