Romandialog. „Weisse Wolken“ und „Weiße Flecken“

Reading and discussion with Yandé Seck and Lene Albrecht

In a joint reading, the authors Yandé Seck and Lene Albrecht will talk about their latest works. Lene Albrecht will present her novel "Weiße Flecken", a work that traces German colonialism back to her own family history. Seck will present her book "Weisse Wolken" (White Clouds), which deals with two sisters - for one, being black is a political category, for the other, being a mother. While the differences between the two books are recognizable at first glance, both authors unite the themes of identity and family history in their stories.
