Romeo and Juliet is one of William Shakespeare's most popular works. Its emotional density has always fascinated: fate with its portents heralding a tragic end. The couple's lament, caused by the enmity of both families and the haste of their decisions. Love as a constant contrast to hate. And death as the only way to maintain a love that only obstacles stand in its way. In his choreography to Sergei Prokofiev's music, Alfonso Palencia approaches the story from a humanistic perspective in order to bring it closer to modern man.
