As part of the exhibition "Antti Pussinen - New Waves", we invite you to a very special music event during the artcologne week: RSN | N - ambientdronemusic

The abbreviations RSN and N stand for two music artists, each special in their own right, but congenial together. We are looking forward to their performance!

From the musicians' "package insert": "N works with the moment, with the impression of the place, with what inspiration brings forth. Independent of previous planning and considerations, this results in music that is very personal, very inner and very expressive. Since 2001, N has regularly released recordings on various European labels with conceptual, sequential artwork that illustrates the mood of the musical content. In live performances, N uses two amplifiers with a chain of effects units as a connecting element, creating music based on warm depth - sometimes looping and restrained, sometimes rolling over the listener like a thunderstorm.

The special thing about rsn are the drones that are consistently thought through to the end, which manifest themselves over the course of the compositions, some of which are over 15 minutes long, and are overlaid by further ambient surfaces in order to switch from calm and silence to dissonance - but this happens almost imperceptibly. Quiet, rather contemplative sounds gradually develop into an alert sound structure. Sometimes, however, it remains quiet and introverted, meditative and floating. rsn mainly uses a bass and a series of effect pedals, but supplements the spectrum here and there with field recordings, synthesizers and the like."

Free admission, but the number of visitors is limited.
