The Austrian band ENDE from Vienna and Linz creates an exciting fusion of the genres post-punk, Neue Neue Deutsche Welle, pop, new wave and punk. This play with genre elements gives their music an individual identity that goes far beyond mere genre conventions. Guitars, drum machines and synthesizers merge into a harmonious fabric of sound. Their debut single "cowboy1" catapulted the band straight to third place in the FM4 charts. The two subsequent releases, "räuber" and "signale", continue this success and can be heard regularly on the radio. Dark lyrics, statements against police violence or western sounds a lá Morricone - the band manages to skillfully mix their different influences. This not only lends their music authenticity, but also a certain unpredictability that takes the listener on a surprising and entertaining journey.
