Rummelsnuff (Derbe Strommusik/Deutschland)

RUMMELSNUFF...with "Äquatortaufe", RUMMELSNUFF & ASBACH have landed a particularly big catch. With its unique blend of cheeky electro with a stiff breeze of electro music and down-to-earth workers' songs, "Äquatortaufe" offers just that: hearty swaying and shaking legs. "Hearty" is very apt, as this time the captain sings about the delicious dessert "Eiorschägge" and "Sauerkraut". Incidentally, the latter is RUMMELSNUFF's first "real" a cappella piece: "A song like an old folk tune, as if it had always been there," he describes it appropriately. Of course, there is also a strong pinch of humor - the side effects of this vitamin-rich vegetable product are known to all and are musically accompanied by "the wooded heights of Käptn's bassoon". "Zeppelin", a story about the "whales of the air", leaves the maritime cosmos of RUMMELSNUFF and even imagines the 1930s. In "Bootsmann", an "extremely rummelsnuffy shanty", one "patiently sails the long waterways of the inland". Of course, the electronic-inspired "Feuerwehr", "Müllabfuhr" with its more relaxed beats and "Kreuzheben" are all about getting down to business.
