When the world was turned upside down in March 2020, Irish singer-songwriter Ryan Mack decided to retreat to his bedroom and do what he does best: Write songs. Two years later, he has more than 120 million Spotify streams and is about to embark on an 18-date European tour with American superstars AJR.

It's been a long road for the young songwriter from a bedroom in Newbridge to selling out stages around the world.
His first success was a song he co-wrote with TikTok star, longtime friend and collaborator Robert Grace. Their song Fake Fine, which Robert released, was undoubtedly the Irish breakthrough hit of 2020. "Fake Fine", a top 10 radio hit in their home country of Ireland, also reached the top of the Spotify viral charts and was number 1 on Shazam.

Ryan's solo success was not long in coming. His viral hit "Broke", the song that started it all, was streamed over 1 million times in less than two months and played on radio worldwide. Word spread, and with globally renowned artists such as Charlie Puth, Megan Trainor and Andy Grammer showering him with praise online, it wasn't long before he was even praised by digital authority Taylor Lorenz of the New York Times.

His album 'She Wins, I Lose', released in early 2021, was featured on Billboard.com alongside Olivia Rodrigo, played on SIRIUSXM in the US and reached Top 20 radio in his native Ireland.

A prolific songwriter, he followed up with 'Perfect On Me', a straightforward pop banger that saw him first heard on BBC Radio 1, on Molly King's Best New Pop program.

In the middle of the summer, in July 2021, things took off for Ryan with the release of 'Overwhelmed', his arrangement of the song of the same name by Californian punk band Royal & The Serpents. The song became a viral sensation and now has over 80 million streams.

Ryan's audience has continued to grow and he now has over 2.5 million fans from around the world. At a recent Zoom event, people came from all over the world, from India to Ireland, America to Australia and everywhere in between.
More releases followed: "Guess That's Love" and "Sad Fuck" ended 2021 before Ryan's next big global hit, "Only Human", was released in early 2022.
The song, which enjoyed huge popularity, earned Ryan another appearance on BBC Radio 1's Best New Pop as well as on the global new music website Ones To Watch and received its own episode with Travis Mills on Apple Music.

The future continues to look very bright for Ryan Mack. His other releases this year include "Sweet Tooth" and the radio hit "Wish You the Worst". Last summer, he celebrated his first 100 million Spotify streams and is about to announce his first European tour.
