Sabine Karb: Fast Fashion

Dance theater with teenagers and young professionals | ages 13 and up

The fashion industry leaves behind disasters for workers and the environment. Fast fashion heats up the climate, consumes too much water, pollutes the oceans, creates mountains of waste and exploits seamstresses. How does this go together with the fun of a quick makeover?

Choreographer Sabine Karb takes a critical and humorous look at the ecological and social impact of the fast fashion industry with five young people and two dance students. They embark on a fast-paced balancing act: is it possible to constantly reinvent oneself with clothes without slipping full steam ahead into the consumer trap? Long live fashion!

After the performances: Clothes swap in the foyer (please bring max. 8 clean items of clothing, no underwear, socks)
