BABY OF THE BUNCH
II Riot! Wave Punk from Berlin & Leipzig II
For more than seven years, BABY OF THE BUNCH have been leaving a trail of glitter, beer and expoding rainbows in the clubs and punk stores of Germany.

Their debut album 'Pretty But It Has No Use' from spring 2022 was critically acclaimed for its stylistic complexity and flexible leaps between genres.
The band continued their tendency towards the unpredictable by releasing several daring electronic remixes of their singles.
The band focuses on making their expressive songs suitable not only for mosh pits but also for techno floors.

BABY OF THE BUNCH see themselves in the tradition of the Riot Grrrls and are thus part of a new queer*feminist generation for whom life is too short for compromises.
In-Between is balanced here between snotty punk style and the defeat of all prejudices of musical inferiority towards FLINTA* artists.

The band's live shows are filled to the brim with brute guitar sounds, floating vintage synthesizers and hair or legs flying through the air.
Their clothes are bold, their make-up extravagant and their instruments are pink.
Between songs, the musicians talk about the inspiration behind the songs.
They write about the lives of young people today: Stories about encounters on Tinder, broken hearts or the unaffordability of rent.

The social media channels and music videos demonstrate a devoted expression of Gen Z trash, coupled with the photographically thorough capture of every fluttering strand of a headbang.

BABY OT THE BUNCH mercilessly think outside the box.
Unimpressed by conventions, genre boundaries or clichés.
They uncompromisingly unfold their creative expression and emphatically demonstrate that FLINTA*s belong on stage.

AQUA TOFANA
II Noise Post Pop Punk from Paris II
AQUA TOFANA is a trio from Paris that plays raw, feminist puzzle punk.

Carried by dark, progressive rhythms, the band combines poetry and percussive vocals with noise textures and abrasive guitars.

This is how they create their version of a modern riot grrrl sound.

MensTrueNation play sugar snout punk, have a sense of rhythm and are only too good for the patriarchy!

We bring you the absence of sense!

"Menstruenation have been preying on a territory called Freiburg for some time now, hammering, fluting, scraping, harmonizing at all the important festivities in this city and thus terrifying at least part of society.
We are not one of them and look forward to the hissing duo like a snow puma."

"The first band is called MensTrueNation.
A great play on words!
A two-person band.
The two of them share a guitar, keyboard, melodica, shake-egg and one of those e-drum things.
It's hard to categorize their music now, sometimes simple blues sequences, but then it gets more experimental again.
Lives (höhö) a lot through the morbid charm in lyrics, look and announcements, but also through the humor that always flashes through."

Admission is free for persons accompanying people with disabilities.

"The Slow Club is my living room, the Salon Riot is my ruelle."

The ruelle can be seen as a particularly intimate version of a salon and was used for social and intellectual gatherings and had emancipatory and feminine connotations.

In 17th century Paris, the ruelle was of great importance for the exchange of women and the promotion of culture and artists.

Salon culture developed throughout Europe and became a social meeting place for exchange, music, art, literature and political discussions in private gatherings that transcended national borders.

The hosts of the salons were predominantly female and were called salonnière.

Regardless of class or gender, the salonnières promoted the ideas of their guests and young talents, artists or philosophers, and in France, for example, also the ideas of the later revolution.
