Salt water. Seascapes/Audio plays

From October 1 to 15, 2024, Jana Bornemann, Dieter Mach, Lioba Müller and Robert Uhde will transform our space at Haarenstraße 39 into a fascinating place all about the sea. Under the title "Saltwater. Seestücke/Hörstücke", the four artists are showing paintings and photography that focus on the beauty and poetry of the ocean.

Jana Bornemann experiments with corrosion processes on metal, Dieter Mach impresses with abstract photographic artworks, Lioba Müller shows unique moments and details, and Robert Uhde plays with space and line to create dense urban and natural landscapes.

A special highlight is the accompanying program: at the opening on 2 October at 5 pm, there will be an introduction by Dirk Meyer and music by flautist Martin Czischke-Müller. On October 7, guitarist Ragnar Kleen will bring a pop and fingerstyle atmosphere to the room, and on October 13, participants in the literature workshop "Sage und Schreibe" will read their texts. The finissage on October 15 from 5 p.m. will be accompanied by music from cellist Angelika Bönisch.
