Nouveau and more
The third Thursday in November each year is firmly anchored among wine drinkers with the arrival of the new Beaujolais. But Beaujolais is much more than just Primeur and holds many other treasures. The predominant grape variety there, Gamay, gives the wines the characteristic flair of red fruits, as well as a subtle spiciness and a pleasant freshness thanks to stimulating acidity and subtle tannins. In addition to the Nouveau, discover wines from the Beaujolais Villages appellation and two wonderful cru sites, Fleurie and Morgon.
