Schlippenbach Trio - Winterreise

Alexander von Schlippenbach (piano)
Rudi Mahall (clarinet and bass clarinet)
Dag Magnus Narvesen (drums)

The Schlippennbach Trio has been an institution on the European improvisational music scene for over 50 years now. Von Schlippenbach founded the trio in 1970, together with Evan Parker on saxophone and Paul Lovens (in recent years Paul Lytton) on drums.
2020 the line-up changed and clarinettist Rudi Mahall and Norwegian drummer Dag Magus Narvesen joined the trio around von Schlippenbach.
2023 they set off on their first winter tour - and they plan to make it a tradition again this year.
