Lalo is black, queer and in his mid-twenties. The sudden death of his father throws him completely off course, and he tries to repress the loss - which not only throws his own life into chaos, but also that of his best friend Karla. Together, Lalo and Karla navigate the challenges of growing up between career, dating and family in search of their place in life. The series by creator Lamin Leroy Gibba celebrated its world premiere at the renowned Tribeca Film Festival in New York.
