Science Day

In the organizer's words:

This day is once again all about science. All universities and scientific institutions in the Kiel region invite you to discover, experiment and learn on Science Day. We are also taking part again as a location. In addition to the performance of "Fokus Wissenschaftlerin" - A

theater performance with dance, pantomime & film by Mimescope Theater, the regional film festivals - the CINEMARE Marine Film Festival and the GREEN SCREEN Nature Film Festival - will present exciting nature and marine films with a scientific context on Science Day. In the evening, Biowisskom's Science Café will also be the place to enjoy a glass of beer and discuss scientific topics in a relaxed atmosphere with a bit of humor and satire.

3 p.m.: Species Protection 2.0 | Film screening

4 pm: 5 degrees 6 minutes 7 am, Pepe dives down and Ice Mermaid | short films

5 p.m.: Sandflug, Unsere Knicklandschaft in Schleswig-Holstein and Wild bees - how do they protect their offspring? | Short films

6 p.m.: Hans Hass - Pioneer of the deep | Film screening

7 pm: Fokus Wissenschaftlerin - A theater performance with dance, pantomime & film

8 p.m.: Homo Animalis | Film screening

8:30 pm: Science Café - Genetic optimization to save us from the apocalypse: science with wit and satire

9 p.m.: Expedition Arctic 2 - Diving at the North Pole | Film screening
