A drama by Yunus Wieacker

When Mia and Ella move in next door, Sıla and Navid still lead a carefree life with their daughter Erya. But when the neighbors' cultural values clash, their world begins to totter. In search of her place in society, young Erya finds herself caught between two fronts and soon finds herself caught in a web of prejudice and hostility.

Even the Grass Shuns the Evening Sun tells of the fear of the unknown, the striving to belong and the feeling of being a stranger. It describes how exclusion continues to shape social coexistence and asks what constitutes a "we".
