Sell La Vie - A NoNÅME Solo Exhibition

In the organizer's words:

The AMUSEUM of Contemporary Art opens its new exhibition "Sell la Vie" by the anonymous art activist NoNÅME on October 5.
In a multifaceted spectrum, which includes works in screen printing, oil paintings, handmade collages and a light installation, social challenges and current topics of our everyday life are critically examined with pointed humor.
With red neon light and black velvet, NoNÅME lures visitors into a visually stunning kaleidoscope that combines the seemingly infinite variety of simultaneously existing realities of life from hundreds of small snippets in order to reunite them into a reflection of our zeitgeist.
He tears, sprays, glues and paints, creating fractures and fragments that he reassembles. NoNÅME not only plays with images from our everyday lives, he also consciously exploits our viewing habits shaped by the media and advertising. With the sophistication of established marketing strategies, he transforms his works into a showcase in whose spotlight the dark sides of a society shaped by neoliberalism and broken in equal measure are illuminated.
Both the diverse imagery and the themes addressed are as multifaceted as life itself. NoNÅME never uses the scalpel to combine representative fragments into a humorous statement.
