Senior movie: THE IRONY OF LIFE

Edgar (67) is a successful comedian who makes fun of getting older in his stage show: his failed marriage, a declining libido, rapidly deteriorating health, general uselessness and approaching death. But as soon as the show is over, a lonely man is left behind who tries to fill his empty evenings with online shopping and alcohol. When his ex-wife Eva (65), who has terminal cancer and does not want to be treated for it, visits him after 25 years, the two begin to grow closer again against all odds. Eva decides to accompany Edgar on his comedy tour through Germany. A journey marked by her progressive illness, which brings Edgar back to himself and at some point even to his estranged children. And, of course, a wild, funny and emotional trip full of sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll!
