SHIRAZ ENSEMBLE – NAVAYE HASHTOM

In the organizer's words:

The Shiraz Ensemble was founded in 2014 by Sattar Soltanfar with the aim of presenting the work of young composers. Sattar is a composer himself and has since collaborated with numerous star instrumentalists and composers.
The Shiraz Ensemble reflects on everyday experiences and follows the aesthetic principles of Persian Dastgahi traditions.
The rich and diverse folklore scene in Iran and neighboring countries inspires collaboration with Baluchis, Azerbaijanis and other musicians from the region.
On the new European tour, the audience is invited to discover a common concept - Iranian music - from different cultural perspectives.
