SHIRLEY HOLMES love it unconventional, make music to dance to and nonchalantly call the result sport with guitars. With their come-as-you-will charm, tumultuous battle vocals, smart, snotty lyrics and astonishing live energy, they have played extensively on club and festival stages across Germany and have been invited to support bands such as Die Ärzte, Beatsteaks, The Baboon Show, Terrorgruppe and many others. For their last album "Die Krone der Erschöpfung", the trio was in the studio with US producer Sylvia Massy (Tool, Red Hot Chili Peppers, System Of A Down) and released a powerful, unorthodox longplayer on Rookie Records in 2020. The following year, they released a remix album of the "Krone" with artists such as Egotronic, Annette Benjamin, Schrottgrenze, The Tchik, Finna and Rod González, played a series of live concerts and then made themselves scarce.
