The program shows five short films from 2013 to the present day, covering traditional Swiss crafts in the snow, a Serbian village kiosk and an all-inclusive cruise, among other things.
We welcome Corina Schwingruber Ilic on stage for an audience discussion after the film program.

Films in the program:
KOD COŠKA (CH/SB, 2013, Corina Schwingruber Ilic / Nikola Ilic, 15')
Whether beer, cigarettes or margarine, the village kiosk in Sirca has it all. It is the meeting place for those who did not emigrate. No work, no money, but lots of humor and brotherhood.
INS HOLZ (CH, 2017, Corina Schwingruber Ilic, Thomas Horat, 13')
Snow, ice, sweat and chainsaw noise. Every four years, over three winter months, wood is felled in a steep mountain forest on Lake Aegeri in the canton of Zug and made ready for logging according to ancient tradition. Neither technology nor progress has been able to replace this traditional craft.
ALL INCLUSIVE (CH, 2018, Corina Schwingruber Ilic, 10')
Fitness on the sun deck, a polonaise through the dining room, a photo opportunity with the captain or a beauty contest for young and old. A cruise offers all this and much more. Fun is guaranteed around the clock and your own hotel room floats along. Business is booming and pleasure vacations on the high seas are all the rage. At the end of the day, what remains are tons of digital souvenir photos and a cloud of exhaust fumes on the horizon.
JUST ANOTHER DAY IN EGYPT (CH/EGY, 2015, Corina Schwingruber Ilic, Nikola Ilić, 11')
What is left of the Egyptian revolution of 2011? Nothing, except full prisons and a great disappointment. The ex-military chief Al-Sisi has taken power and runs his country with an iron hand. Everyday life goes on and the Egyptian people are trying to make the best of it.
BEEN THERE (CH, 2023, Corina Schwingruber Ilic, 10')
Weekend trips, city breaks, a detour into nature or a trip around the world. You barely have a few days off before you're gone. Never before has the desire to travel been so widespread and the places we visit so overloaded. What do we get out of it, apart from the visual proof that we have been there?
Location: Filmhaus Köln, Maybachstraße 111, 50670 Cologne
