Handmade music at the Bremen headquarters

The third singer-songwriter evening will take place on St. Nicholas Day, when the frost glistens on the bare branches. It will be a cozy evening with outstanding singer-songwriters from Bremen and the scent of mulled wine and speculoos will waft through the Zentrale.

This time we will be honored by these wonderful people:

IFFY FISH
Mikael Fischman aka IFFY FISH is serious and has a lot of fun doing it. He comes from France and has lived in Bremen for eight years - so he's now the second musician in the singer-songwriter concert series who has explicitly moved to Bremen from another country. We are delighted!

Mika describes himself as a crossover singer-songwriter between pop, world and folk music. He likes it colorful, both in terms of mood and language. He mainly writes English lyrics, but French ones are sometimes included. His first album "Raw" was released in 2019, followed by another entitled "Jane, come help me" in 2022.

Whether in a band setting or alone: his performances exude a lot of energy. He's bringing his guitar to us. And hopefully the harp too.

LAVENDER BLOOM
Behind this name is the music project of Bremen singer-songwriter Jana Otten, who creates authentic indie folk with a unique voice and delicate guitar sound. In early 2023, she released her first self-produced EP "Far Up North - Acoustic Live Session" on Bandcamp. Here, melodies full of longing meet lyrics inspired by a trip to the far north of Norway. The songs tell of forgotten dreams and the flight of cranes. She will be accompanied live on the cello.

NIA Wohlgemuth
Inspired by Joni Mitchell, Wallis Bird, Tracy Chapman and Ben Harper, NIA creates her very own sound. The foundation is her expressive vocals, which repeatedly jazz up the melodies of her thoughtful lyrics, making them so exciting.
Her reflections on the state of the human soul offer a wide projection surface, allowing you to connect and drift away at the same time.

She has now released several albums, including "Hopeful train" and "Turn it into light". She is always looking for support from other musicians, including on piano and cello.
She joins us with her guitar.
