Bremen's singer-songwriter scene is diverse and colorful! This will be impressively demonstrated again this evening. Three different representatives of this genre will be performing on the Open Space stage: Lucky Mirlo, Mario Varvarikis and Sinus.
Lucky Mirlo
"Lucky Mirlo - comes from Venezuela and developed his passion for music as a young guitarist in an orchestra. His unique sound is a mixture of Latin, rock, hip-hop and pop music. The music moves the audience with catchy rhythms, rousing melodies and heartbreaking lyrics about love and self-discovery.
Mario Varvarikis
As a founding member of the Bremen bands COFFEE & OneDropCollective, Mario has been performing on stages in Bremen and beyond for many years - and has made many people dance. In fall 2020, he released his solo album "Painted Rose", which marked his debut as a solo artist. The Hanseatic native's self-composed songs move between folk, blues and offbeats and deal with the life, joys and sorrows of an "average dude" with a furious glimmer of hope.
Sine wave
Whether at an open air concert in front of thousands of people, on television in front of an audience of millions or at a familiar living room concert: when Sinus steps out of the dark into the spotlight, the moment sparkles. Charming smile, tattoos, snapback. Definitely a rapper, right? But then he suddenly starts singing - raw, rough and real - with a voice that gives you goosebumps. And when people's mouths are open, he suddenly starts rapping. He tells stories that cast shadows and stories that sparkle. Lo-fi elements and 808s merge with the sounds and styles of the 90s. The result is edgy, modern pop that sticks with you. A stage show that carries you away. Songs that touch.
