With the"Sensual Walk", one of the most popular guided tours returns to the exhibition program of the Panometer Leipzig.

The 90-minute culinary tour is perfect for a romantic outing for two, for gourmets and anyone who enjoys detailed information about the exhibition combined with small delicacies.

During the popular tour, after an initial drinks reception, you will stroll through the panorama exhibition with the guide and learn all the background, details and anecdotes about the panorama and the accompanying exhibition while enjoying sweet and savory specialties. During the tour, both the accompanying exhibition and the 360° panorama are viewed together.

The sensory walk takes place every 2 weeks on Saturdays at 2.30 pm from May 25.

With the panorama"THE CATHEDRAL OF MONET - Freedom of Painting", the artist invites you on a picturesque journey to the French city of Rouen at the end of the 19th century. The focus is on the impressive Notre Dame Cathedral, which has been immortalized in a multifaceted interplay of extraordinary nuances of colour, shading and incidence of light. Numerous contemporaries of the era, such as Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh and Auguste Renoir, can be found on the square in front of it and in the city's alleyways.

Background noises and music that reflect the atmosphere of the late 19th century as well as a day and night light simulation bring France's past to life. Viewing takes place at ground level or from the various levels of the 15-metre-high visitor platform.

The Panometer Leipzig is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm.
