In cooperation with sipgate, "Schleuse Zwei" has launched the "sipgate undays" - classic offdays in touring, on which there are usually no concerts. We look forward to delighting you with a diverse mix of musical delicacies in the music bar in the "Bilker Bunker" on these very days.

On Thursday, November 14: Modern floor coverings & Bufiman

When a feeling of nostalgia spreads through the "Schleuse Zwei" music bar, warm chords and captivating melodies cling to the concrete walls, then the two musicians Niklas Wandt and Joshua Gottmanns take over the room with their project Neuzeitliche Bodenbeläge.

The duo present their latest EP "Neulust" and thus also a stylistic reorientation of the band, which is more than convincing.

Wandt's captivating voice is reminiscent of the time when Thorsten Fenslau was active, interspersing the tracks with poetic recitations. His drumming harmonizes perfectly with Gottmanns' warm chords and moving melodies. Together they debuted with "Neulust" on the Zurich label Lustpoderosa to further develop and redefine their musical connection.

Recorded with minimal intervention, the album explores themes of love, alienation and consumption, blending haunting electro, deep house, NDW and Euro dance elements.

Neuzeitliche Bodenbeläge became known in the Central European underground scene through releases on Themes for Great Cities or Bureau B, their special vintage German wave sound and their lively tour appearances.

Jan Schulte from Düsseldorf is a true multiverse of talents: Disc jockey, producer, dancer, rhythm lover, Jew's harp player and frog fan.

Never satisfied with musical stereotypes, he produces different, always peculiar and extremely strange, but always rousing and highly likeable styles of dance music under various alter egos - such as Bufiman, Wolf Mueller or even Diskoking Burnhart McKoolski.
