This evening belongs entirely to the next generation, with works carefully selected by Sir Simon for the BRSO Academy and the fabulous and fabulously young pianist Tsotne Zedginidze. The BRSO Academy is the talent factory of the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. Chief conductor Sir Simon Rattle calls it a "no brainer" - promotion as a matter of course.
