Øldnbrg: Magical moments in the Scandinavian Christmas village on the Waffenplatz

Välkommen in Øldnbrg, welcome to the Christmas market on the Waffenplatz! Inspired by the Scandinavian way of life and Nordic Christmas traditions, a new Christmas village awaits you here. Stroll across the cozy, illuminated Waffenplatz and enjoy Scandinavian flair in the middle of Oldenburg.

The heart of the Christmas village is the log cabin known as the "Julhus". Other wood-clad pagodas are lined up around the Christmas house, creating a cozy atmosphere. The atmosphere here is more relaxed than at the large Christmas market. Discover beautiful things and try tasty treats - inspired by our neighbors from the north. Warm yourself with spicy, fragrant glögg or indulge in Nordic dishes. It feels a bit like being on vacation.

In addition to typical taste experiences, Scandinavian Christmas traditions have also found their way into the program: On December 13, a procession of lights will pass through the city for the traditional Lucia Festival to brighten up the dark season. You can win lots of great surprises every day at the big Advent calendar.
