"Skazka Orchestra is surf dancing in life jackets, smiling faces in roaring waves of crisp offbeats, cross seas in a storm of horns, full night ahead, vodka spilled in the swell, no land in sight and nobody who cares. Skazka is dancing until it gets light.
Provided you are seaworthy. Skazka has been on the road since 2008 and, with two studio albums and over 700 concerts in Germany and Europe, has built up a loyal dance audience. Musically, Skazka Orchestra is limitless, whatever is fun is allowed, from ska to klezmer, jazz to techno. The mix of first-class accordion and drums, virtuoso trumpet, groovy trombone and swinging double bass as well as their multilingual lyrics give the band its unique sound.
