At the poetry slam in Haus 73, up-and-coming poets meet the old hands of the slam scene. The audience decides by applause who comes to the final and turns the cozy hall above the Schulterblatt every time into a witch's cauldron. Whoever wins gets the golden cardboard pony at the end! One of the most prestigious trophies of the city still gallops home with the winning person.Poet*innen with their self-written texts compete against each other. They have 6 minutes stage time & are not allowed to use costumes or props. The texts are sometimes funny, sometimes serious, sometimes rhymed, sometimes narrated. Everything is allowed that is possible with voice and text sheet. In the end, the audience decides who wins the evening.
