A twisted Christmas story for ages 4 and up

Seven-year-old Flo loves Christmas. All the little secrets, treats and scents, the twinkling lights and cheerful songs. And since Flo has a little Secret Santa door under her bed, Christmas time is of course particularly exciting. Flo would love to prepare the festivities with her mom and enjoy lots of togetherness. But Flo's mom has to work a lot at Christmas time of all times - unfortunately, there's not much time for pre-Christmas magic. Flo had imagined it all to be very different, she is disappointed and sad. This doesn't go unnoticed in the Secret Santa workshop in the attic above Flo's nursery. And suddenly a real elf actually rolls through Flo's elf door to comfort her. Flo can't believe it at first, but then she plunges - or rather rolls - into night-time adventures with her elf. Christmas wants to be brought back - for all the senses, with everything that goes with it and preferably for everyone. Or at least for everyone who has forgotten Christmas. You are welcome to find out for yourself what mustard in the toothpaste tube, carrots in the Advent wreath and forgotten time-stopping magic have to do with it.
