Soft Violet Record Release Revue

In the organizer's words:

A light of Munich's subculture is releasing her first solo record under the name Soft Violet in September - and it's so good that it's being released on the Notwist label Alien Transistor. Sterner Stuff is the title and the material is truly stellar. This has to do with the light content of the music: Because the music sounds like a night drive on the brightly lit highways of Belgium. At the same time, it remains subversive and political like the machine-oriented and legendary slogan-like pop of Felix Kubin. The instrumentation remains minimalist: bass, synthesizer, voice - that's all there is to the car. The arrival of the matriarchy of machines has swing. So don't stay in your seats, dance!

Vernonica Burnuthian doesn't want to celebrate this alone, however, but invites international guests to the Werkraum:

AAAHHHNNNDDDIII is a "1 babe hard dancy live show". This self-description evokes a promising image. And yes, it's all about sweating, screaming and dancing. A unique mix of German and English language cheekily celebrates self-empowerment of queer identities and radical love of friends. 200 shows in 18 countries and 200 stages turned into puddles can't lie.

Ben Bix is a central figure in Dublin's nightlife. In his solo projects, Bix creates a captivating blend of bass for the pit of the stomach, grooves for the hips and dreamy soundscapes - for the soul, of course. On tour, Bix is joined on stage by vocalist NEVVV and drummer Jason McNamara.
