Soli-Rave: Straßenengel

In the organizer's words:

Homelessness is becoming an ever-growing problem in Oldenburg. Personal strokes of fate, economic hardship and an increasingly dramatic housing market in the city are driving people into homelessness. Once there, those affected face hunger, health hazards, exclusion, verbal and even physical violence.

The association "Straßenengel e.V." was founded to help those affected by homelessness in Oldenburg. The volunteers cook for the homeless and also distribute food, hygiene articles, clothing and camping equipment to those affected. In this way, the association helps those who are otherwise shunned and marginalized by many. Especially in winter, which is now approaching again, the work of the street angels is an essential contribution to ensuring the survival of people without a home.

In order to support the association "Straßenengel e.V." in their mission, we are organizing a soli-rave on 06.12.2024 in the Metro, i.e. the proceeds of the entrance fee will be donated to the association to help those who have to live on the streets in Oldenburg.
