SOUNDSVILLE FEAT. LUCY WOODWARD

Singer Lucy Woodward was born in London and spent her childhood in New York and the Netherlands. Straight after leaving school, she started her career in the clubs of Greenwich Village in New York and signed a record deal with Atlantic Records. Her producer at the time was none other than David Bowie mastermind Tony Visconti. In addition to her solo career, she has worked and performed with Snarky Puppy, Charlie Hunter, Rod Stewart, Chaka Khan, Celine Dion, Nikka Costa, Carole King and Joe Cocker, the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra and the WDR Big Band, among others. Lucy has been working with the organ trio Soundsville for three years. The repertoire includes original songs, arrangements of blues, soul and pop classics as well as pieces from the Great American Songbook. Soundsville utilizes the sonic possibilities of the organ trio from blues, jazz, gospel and soul to rock and psychedelic.
