Racist ideas are still deeply embedded in our society, right from childhood - and change can only come about by actively addressing issues such as colonialism, everyday racism and structural discrimination.
In their mindful and anti-racist educational picture book, KiKa presenter Pia Amofa-Antwi and journalist Saskia Hödl discuss how to deal with racism and explain the origins of racist thinking and how children can deal with and fight against it today in a child-friendly way. In conversation with the children, the authors give hope for a world in which people are no longer discriminated against because of the color of their skin.
For children aged 7 and over.
