The Hamburg native with the Ruhrpott character loves the energy of the authentic moment, he likes it live and lively, he is a captivating entertainer and unique singer-songwriter like no other in this country. He is characterized by risk and spontaneity, turning concert halls into intensive care units full of surprises and improvisation. Anyone who writes such expressive lyrics and songs (from "Tanz" to "Dumpfbacke" to "Wetterprophet") can dare to do so. The singer and multi-instrumentalist, who has been awarded the GEMA Music Authors' Prize, the RUTH World Music Prize and the German Cabaret Prize, among others, turns attitude into entertainment and madness into humor and hope.

With his 20th studio album, he is now getting into "Teufelsküche" (Glitterhouse). It's all set: Following his latest chart success "Jubel" (the album entered the German charts at number 4 at the beginning of the 2020 pandemic), Stoppok and his commanding band are now presenting the new songs on tour. "Teufelsküche" has become a powerful statement, oscillating between references to Dylan and Solomon Burke, recorded in an analog and direct way. Stoppok's musical answer to the omnipresent plague of digital make-up. The singer knows that thinking and happiness do not stand in each other's way. Especially when man and nature tend to run high. As we all know, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Or with good songs.
