We invite you to a mixed music show with a wide variety of guests, the Südbahnhofkonzerte at Bahnwärter Thiel.
showbid [Munich]
Showbid, the diary pop rapper and human awakener, strives for honest self-reflection in society through his music. Whether on big stages or in the pedestrian zone, he seeks direct dialog. Showbid confronts passers-by on the street and in his music with profound questions such as "When was the last time you were proud of yourself?".
Showbid, who grew up in an Austrian mountain village as a child with a migrant background, aspired to classic success with top grades, sporting achievements and a double degree. A dispute with his brother, who put his music project before his studies, prompted him to rethink his priorities and ultimately start his own music project. With his project, he wants to encourage young adults with a migration background to reflect on their beliefs and has created the "showbies" community as a safe space for self-reflection. His successes, such as being nominated as one of Bavaria's top 20 newcomers and over 60,000 streams for his current single, show that showbid means business. His new single "Ich komm zurück" is designed to get listeners questioning and nodding along with its funky pop sound.
2seedsleft [Innsbruck]
2seedsleft thrives on a wink, both lyrically and musically. All those involved are trained professional musicians with years of playing experience but also with their very own personality, charm and humor. It's as if Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band had studied for a few semesters at the Mozarteum in Innsbruck, but never passed a single exam. Instead, the band drank the finest single malt and listened to old blues and jazz records. A musical walk from Abbey Road via Beale Street to the Cotton Club and not back again - that's 2seedsleft. - 10 years, over 40 songs, 5 albums and 0 principles.
Host: Lidloop [Munich]
Our wonderful host Lidloop leads through the evening: Martin Lidl plays Lidloop. Improvised music with loopmachine. ...a soft sound, a groovy something, suddenly it repeats itself, swells, becomes more and more intense, breaks out, hits hooks and then suddenly lands in surprisingly cozy realms only to take off like Zack in the next moment...Or according to Karl Valentin: A few directions lurk around every corner! Lidl is a musician and as such has been an integral part of the Munich cabaret and world music scene for years.
