We are very happy - after 1.5 years Ozan Tekin finally returns to King Georg. The last concert was completely sold out, and anyone who couldn't get tickets back then finally has a new opportunity to experience this special artist live.

Tekin's solo piano performance is based on his latest album Anarya and his new compositions. Ozan Tekin, a Turkish-born composer and producer from Cologne, has made a name for himself with his unique blend of neo-classical, jazz and ambient music. His debut album Pillars of Salt, released in October 2019, opened up the world of his ambient and experimental compositions. With his latest album Anarya from May 2022, he continues his journey and is celebrated by DJs worldwide - with tracks played on stations such as BBC, KEXP, NTS and Worldwide FM.

Anarya means "to go back" and is a colloquial saying from Tekin's hometown of Adana. With this album, Tekin takes us on a musical journey from Cologne to Istanbul and back to Adana, which he tells in 14 sound stories. Each composition reflects his memories of these three cities and is the result of a deep tuning between Tekin and his piano.

Today, Ozan Tekin continues his solo projects, works on film and television productions as a composer and sound designer and assists the Oscar-winning German film composer Volker Bertelmann, alias Hauschka.
