Our CRIME DINNER: nut salad with bacon, gratinated potato rösti, Toblerone with fruit. The dinner takes place in the theater one hour before the performance. Dessert will be served during the interval.

The American writer Patricia Highsmith has been living in seclusion in her house in the Swiss Alps for years. She has long since had enough of life in New York. However, her publisher is still holding out hope that her worldwide success will continue. New stories about the talented Tom Ripley would mean lots of money and fame.
After the last publishing house employee to visit her ended up in a psychiatric ward, young Edward Ridgeway is now sent to persuade the oddball author to write a sequel. The shy young man engages her in a verbal exchange in which Patricia increasingly loses her grip on reality and falls deeper and deeper into the clutches of her own story.
