Four heavyweights of improvised music have come together in this quartet: The grand dame of fiery jazz Aki Takase on the keys, the wild virtuoso Angelika Niescier on alto, the experimental sound architect Farida Amadou on electric bass and Vincent von Schlippenbach aka DJIllvibe on the turntables. Questions are raised, statements postulated, sounds abstracted, grooves counteracted and textures explored.

Punk jazz, free soundscaping, anarchic loops between composed and improvised madness!
When these masters of their craft come together, the unexpected happens with absolute dedication and without compromise.

Takase, Niescier, Amadou and Schlippenbach already know each other from other constellations, but this is the premiere with material explicitly developed for this line-up.
