Talisa Lallai & Conrad Müller - Ciao! / Hellgelb

In the organizer's words:

At the end of an empty terrace somewhere between the foothills of the Alps and an Italian lake. Turquoise water, dry stone and warm light. Opposite this is a gray, non-representational photograph in which noise dominates. The exhibition "Ciao!/Hellgelb" by Talisa Lallai and Conrad Müller takes the viewer on a journey both into the outside world of photography and into their inner world.

Talisa Lallai was born in Frankfurt/Main in 1989 to Italian parents and grew up with a romantic, idyllic idea of Italy. In her paintings, she searches for motifs that correspond to this image of her parents' homeland, knowing full well that she is recreating her fictitious homeland. She studied at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf from 2009 - 2016.

Conrad Müller, born in Blankenburg in 1983, artistically explores the relationship between images - especially photography - and their perceptible reality in space. At the Oldenburger Kunstverein, he exclusively shows photographs that are either non-objective or in which isolated traces and references to the outside world can be found. He studied at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf from 2014 - 2021.

The two presentations show different facets of the nature of photography, take a stand and challenge our perception.
