Zukunftsschnack: "Land sucht Fachkraft" - experts discuss the challenges of recruiting skilled workers

Bremen's economy is facing an urgent challenge: the shortage of skilled workers is becoming ever more acute. But where should the required skilled workers come from and what is preventing them from being on site? The upcoming event in the "ZUKUNFTSSCHNACK" event series, which will take place on December 9, 2024 at Klub Dialog Bremen, is dedicated to these questions.

Under the title "Land sucht Fachkraft", four experts and the guests present will discuss the opportunities and challenges of recruiting skilled workers. The focus will not only be on measures for the successful qualification and further training of Bremen residents, but also on central hurdles: from integration into the labor market to the effects of the increased rejection of immigration and competition between cities in the recruitment of qualified specialists.
