Greek pianist, composer, improviser and bandleader Tania Giannouli explores jazz as the most creative form of music with improvisation at the heart of her practice. Inspired by many different traditions and influences, her music and interdisciplinary projects span an impressive range of styles - a creative and boundless fusion of today's global reality. She establishes her very own voice, embracing and transcending Western and Oriental spheres on her soulful path of creation and dedication to the essence of moving sound. Her genre-bending open sound language is often described as lyrical, inspired, complex, eclectic, captivating and highly original. The Korean magazine Jazzspace wrote: "This music invites the listener to dream of eternity."
