Fancy dancing? Fancy dancing?
On a dance walk from the Dance Museum of the German Dance Archive Cologne, you can consciously experience and explore what we don't pay much attention to as 'walking' in everyday life. Relax and mobilize your body in nature and immerse yourself in intuitive and improvised dance under guidance! Shake it off!
After a warm-up, we will dance in stages through August Sander Park and the adjacent Herkulesberg. The dance instructor Friederike Reif will set movement impulses, but it is also possible to "walk around" freely - true to the motto "Dance as it feels good for you". There is no right or wrong. Allow yourself to play creatively and harmoniously with your individual anatomy and your current abilities.
NOTES
We will be out and about in August Sander Park and on the Herkulesberg in the immediate vicinity of the Tanzmuseum for approx. 90 minutes (with breaks). In September and October, the weather may already be making us happy with gusty winds, autumn leaves and maybe even rain. Get out your wellies, umbrella and raincoat: We'll dance our hearts out with everything that fall has to offer!
The dance walk takes place in all weathers - as long as it doesn't rain too heavily. Please remember to bring a rucksack so that you can stow away some clothes in case you get too warm while dancing.
The TanzSpaziergang starts on September 29 and October 20 at 3 pm - meeting point is the Tanzmuseum. From 2 p.m. there is the opportunity to visit the current exhibition in the Tanzmuseum free of charge.
