When a former scene photographer is found dead, the trail leads to a quartet of old friends from the 90s techno scene - and to the eponymous telecommunications tower and Cologne landmark, whose revolving platform was once home to a legendary club. Cult investigator duo Ballauf and Schenk, who themselves are still haunted by many a memory from the 90s, have to dig deep into the gaudy past this time until they uncover the lies and secrets that continue to have an effect in the grayer present.
