Teresa Bergman is an exceptional voice, guitarist and genre shifter all in one. Celebrated by audiences and praised by the press, she released her third studio album "33 Single & Broke" (Jazzhaus Records) in fall 2023. The album title, under whose slogan she is now going on tour, is a statement, self-confession and a wink at the same time. In principle, everything that the native New Zealander and Berliner-by-choice stands for with her music. With a great deal of irony, she makes being a woman from her mid-30s onwards a topic of discussion, both privately and in society. Self-confident women have always been the focus of her songs.

Musically, Bergman jumbles between genres, experimenting with folky elements, modern jazz-pop sounds, the warmth of the acoustic guitar and organic sounds reminiscent of old heroes from the 60s and 70s. It's as if Joni Mitchell had been picked up, paired with a self-confident amount of Sophie Hunger or Fiona Apple and given Bergman's special style.

Her voice is also her instrument, with which she skillfully juggles, breaks out and conveys the deepest emotions in the next moment. The album was recorded in Corona isolation in the studio of the band Isolation Berlin. The result is an exciting work that can be celebrated as a jazzy folk-pop inferno, that demands something from you as poetic discourse pop and that shines with contemporary chanson typical of Bergman.

Live, Bergman captivates the audience with her unique authenticity like no other performer. You can look forward to songs that sometimes make you want to dance and sometimes make you want to indulge, and a singer who absolutely challenges her voice and performance for her audience. It is therefore not surprising that live performances by Bergman are always described in the press as true experiences. One thing is certain: anyone who sees Teresa Bergman live will leave the concert hall surprised, enchanted, thoughtful and enthusiastic.
