Johannes Haase - violin, electronics

John-Dennis Renken was born in Bremen and has lived in the Ruhr region since 2001. He was Improviser In Residence 2017 in Moers and is the current winner of the Jazz Pott. Numerous concerts have taken him halfway around the world, including to Caracas, Nairobi and Kuala Lumpur in cooperation with the Goethe Institute. John-Dennis has played with various innovative bands and international legendary artists: Zodiak Trio, TRIBE, Carla Bley and Steve Swallow, WDR Big Band, NDR Big Band, Monika Roscher Big Band, The Dorf, Angelika Niescier, Eric Schaefer & The Shredz, Michael Wollny, Stefan Schultze Large Ensemble. He is a lecturer for jazz trumpet at the Folkwang University of the Arts.
