A man like his guitar: he has many good sides! And in his new program, he brings them all to life. Ex-Balkan Danko Rabrenović is back on tour.

Danko Rabrenović is a musician, presenter, author and comedian. In the past 20 years he has been either one or the other, now he is all of them at once. Danko's Balkan Variety is a unique live radio show with the greatest hits of the Balkanizer era and the best of today, entertainingly presented with brains, charm and a rolling "Rrrrr". This is how Rabrenović rocks the most renowned stages in the republic: rhythmically fast-paced, rhetorically refined, sometimes relatively rough, sometimes touchingly romantic, but always rigorously entertaining. Danko's Balkan variety show - simply irresistible!

Danko Rabrenović was born in Zagreb, grew up in Belgrade and lived with his parents in Beijing for three years as a child. He came to Germany shortly after the outbreak of the Yugoslavian war. For eleven years, he hosted the cult radio show "Balkanizer" on WDR Funkhaus Europa. He has published two books to date, "Der Balkanizer. A Yugo in Germany" and "Herzlich willkommencić. Homeland stories from the Balkanizer" (DuMont). Rabrenović was also the frontman of the ska-punk band Trovači for 20 years.
