The Cologne duo the bottomline has already caused quite a stir in the Cologne music scene and beyond with its unique genre mix of jazz, classical music and trip-hop. The duo does not shy away from dealing with life's difficult topics in a serious and humorous way. Music journalists have praised them as "a congenial, musically and technically highly talented duo" (KStA), "highly topical" (NDR Kultur Neo) and "fascinating" (Jazzthing).
