The Clerks

In the organizer's words:

... The Clerks are one of the most exciting ska bands from Germany. Since their foundation in 2000, the seven guys from the cathedral city have made an amazing development. So far, they have released 6 albums and 4 singles, which have also made an impression outside the ska scene. Rolling Stone, which is not exactly offbeat, awarded 3.5 out of 5 stars for their album "Vagabund", which moves effortlessly and stylistically confidently from trad ska to klezmer and Balkan pop to dub reggae.
The Clerks showed just how versatile they are in spring 2013, when they impressed even veteran Jamaican producer Clive Chin (Randy's Records/17th North Parade) with an acclaimed set of Studio One classics. Since 2014, they have performed several times on festival and club stages in Germany and the Netherlands as a backing band with the exceptional Amsterdam saxophonist Tommy Tornado (ex-Rude Rich & The High Notes) and the Italian singer and trombonist Mr. T-Bone (The Bluebeaters, The Uppertones).

Important note: This is a standing/dancing event - there is no seating in the hall.
